Banjo Minnow Fishing Lure News, Success Stories, and Letters

November/December 2008

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEND US A STORY OR PICTURE, E-MAIL US AT wayne@banjominnow.com

Below are letters and e-mails from Banjo Minnow Fishermen/women. We get literally thousands of letters telling us of their success. It is impossible for us to print them all, but here are a few of the best.

Other Banjo fishermen/women love to hear about others success with the Banjo. Every Banjo fan shares the same secret. They bought it with great doubt or it was given to them. They didn't want anyone to see them using it at first, and then they were amazed to learn that the infomercial didn't lie, that the stories were true......the Banjo Minnow really will out fish any lure in existence today (except in murky or muddy water, then it is the same as other lures). All Banjo users take great glee in out fishing the "the experts who know its just another stupid TV lure"!

Subject: The first catch with the Banjo Minnow

Dear Wayne,

I sent already this picture to Cyndy but I will be happy if you could put this picture on the internet. I think it is the first trout catched with the Banjo Minnow in Luxembourg:

On the picture you can see my Friend Bob by -3°c with a nice quite young trout we fished last Sunday. I chose this picture because you can see the Banjo Minnow outside of the mouth and the hook inside.

Last Sunday was our first time we fished with the Banjo Minnow and the result is:

The Banjo Minnow is great!! Thank you

Regards,
Marc and Bob

My wife purchased a set of banjo minniow back in may. She has caught several bass on them. I was going to go fishing at a local river, the Great Miami River here in Ohio, on 11-13-08. She suggested I take some of the minnows with me, I did. I was casting one of the white minnows with the green back, I hooked into a 34" northern pike. Managed to get it to shore and snap some pictures. Caught this fish on 8 lb stren mono, no leader. I have enclosed a picture.

Over the summer I was fishing the Gulf of Mexico. It was June 24th early in the morning. I normally don't fish in the ocean and do a lot of fresh water fishing. My Father-in-law went to get live bait at the local bait store. So I did not know what type of fish were in the area and decided to use the Banjo Minnow. I was using the largest Minnow that I had which was the 9 inch silver and black. I was follow some of the technique that are used on the video and discovered my own method. I start to catch fish right after I started to use this technique. Here is a picture of a 34 inch Snook the I caught on the Minnow. It turned out to be a great day of fishing and then I lost my Minnow to something very large. I did not have another large minnow in my box.

Thank You

Subject: Banjo Minnow catches fish

I just wanted to share my success with banjo minnow. I have the old set and the new 006 banjos i like the banjo frogs worked pretty good caught some nice bass but with the 006, just recently took the banjos for a whirl again and the bass just loved them even in cold water conditions anyways it was well worth the money spent. so i thought i would show the pics its of me the first pic was a first caster he came out the weeds and snatched it right up, i have other pics of some other catches but havent uploaded them but its a great lure and fun to fish.
