When i first used my banjo 006 minnow I was at a little trout hatchery in Highland County, VA. I started to do the jerk and stop and I was catchen fish left and right!!! I caught the most fish in that pond. It was so life like all the trout in the pond swarmed to the minnow.

Subject: How to 'cheat' at fishing

This is my second time around with the banjo minnows, the first time was when the originals came out and I had little luck due to the fact I was 17yrs old with no patience to fish them right. I just received the new kit monday but didnt have a chance to go out until yesterday afternoon. My wife and I went up to a local pier on lake erie in avon lake ohio to fish for white bass. Unfortunetly nothing was biting so I became bored and put a 3" clear/silver speckle banjo on and 5 casts later this big 16" small mouth nailed it. I havent had the chance to try it any further because it got way to windy and now its raining so hopefully this weekend I can give it a real test.

Wayne, what can I say......these lures work. I've read a lot of negative comments online about your product; I too was skeptical after purchasing the XXXXXXXXX lure several years back. However; I told my Wife "Its only 20 bucks". I fish at a local pond that's only about 1-1/2 acres; I know there's a lot of Bass in there because I have caught them over the years. Mostly on plastic worms but over the past two years the action has really slowed down. So I get my kit in the mail and throw them in my tackle box. I head out to the pond and of course throw on a worm. After 3 hours of no fish I said what the heck and threw on a Banjo Minnow. First cast......a 3 pounder. Third cast; a solid 2 pounder. Well it was getting late but I did manage to catch one more bass. Countless times I threw on a frog or a worm with little or no success and then I tie on a Banjo and always; within the first or second cast I catch a bass. This has happened probably 20 times; seriously. Banjo Minnows ALWAYS save the day. My youngest Son was fishing with me just the other night; he was complaining how he hasn't caught a thing the last few times out. I decided to start (and finish) with the Banjo this time; he refused to put a "TV" lure on his rod. After I caught two nice bass within 10 minutes he decided to give it a try. In about 15 minutes he caught two and lost one in the pads. Think he'll use one again.......he has vowed to use nothing else. Anyway; I just received 30 brand new 4" Glow in the Dark Banjo's in the mail today. I sure cannot wait until Saturday. I actually fish these on 10 lb test and a baitcaster because the pond is filled with Lily Pads. I have no problems casting these lures and even with 10 lb test; the action is incredible. Thanks for allowing me to catch MANY 2 and 3 pounders this year. I know there are bigger bass in that pond and I have no doubt in my mind that I will catch them with the Banjo. Thanks again for such a great product. To all of you out there that think this lure is a joke; keep thinking that......that leaves that many more fish for me to catch. Gary Pennsylvania

Hi WayneI went out today on the barge canal and The 2 guys I was with were teasing me about being a sucker for buying banjo minnows. As they managed to catch a few small perch, it did not take long for me to reel in a northern pike about 30 inches long. My only regret is not having a picture of the look on their faces when I hooked into him. THANK YOU for the tips. I do have one question. Can you use the banjo minnow effectively on a steel leader? I just love fishing and I think I watched your video 5 times now. anyway I caught my northern with quick jerks and stops.. and on about the fourth cast. AND I would not share with the guys that teased me. LOL Cindy

Our kids love their banjo minnows and we are looking forward to trying them!!! We attached a picture of the bass our kids caught in our pond using their banjo minnows. Thought you would like to see 'em. Our son loves fishing and started saying he wanted to be a professional fisherman at age 6 and still thinks that would be dream come true at age 18. He absolutely loves to fish! Thanks, Tod and Debbie Heusinkvelt

Subject: Having a great year with the Banjo minnow

Hi Wayne,
Fishing is to me the most exiting and greatest sport in the world and no lure makes me more exited that using the Banjo Minnow. As I continue to teach beginners the sport of angling my classes always include a large section on the Banjo Minnow because I have caught literally hundreds of fish on it and have perfected it's presentation. The top picture is my girlfriend Debbie with her first largemouth bass and you can chalk it to up the 4 inch ivory minnow. She just started fishing and is enjoying a lot a success. I believe that I could help many anglers beginner or advanced quadruple their catches with a brief lesson. The middle picture is a smallmouth I caught with the same 4" Banjo in a man-made impoundment in southern Massachusetts. The bottom picture is a largemouth that I caught in a tiny pond in Connecticut. The species that I have caught on your lure are ,of course, the largemouth and smallmouth bass, calico bass or crappie, pickerel, bluegills, yellow perch, rainbow trout and brook trout, not to mention saltwater species. When I first used the Banjo Minnow in Maine I caught fish in areas that I thought previously devoid of fish and hooked a smallmouth on my very first cast. Wow!!!. Your infomercial doesn't do it justice. Thanks for a world of fun. My students thank you too.

Subject: Fun Product

Thanks for such a fun product. I recieved the banjo 006 kit for fathers day. When fishing with it for the first time I had a blast. Just to test the lure I tried most of the other lures in my tackle box, but even though I could see the fish they would not take anything I threw at them, then I put on a 3 in banjo minnow and the fun began. Within 5 minutes I had caught three 10 inch and a 13 inch bass along with numerous panfish. The funnest thing about the banjo was that when the fish hit it was as if they were angry about the minnow in their territory. Some of the panfish that hit the minnow were smaller than the lure itself. Thanks again for such a fun product.

Subject: My Banjo Experince

Hi Wayne, I recently fished the Banjo Minnow for the first time, at a large bass lake, where I go once a year for Boy Scout Summer Camp. In previous years I have used other lures with mixed success. I met a guy who fished Banjo's up there, and he let me try one, and it was the best year I ever had up there. He let me have a couple, and I took them down to the ponds by my house I walk to and fish almost everyday. Once again, I had one of my best days fishing them today, I caught a few big bass in only about a half hour. This is by far the best lure I have ever used, and I will continue using them in the future!
Thanks!

Subject: Really Works

Thanks for the minnow kit. I haven't caught anything out of my pond in a while. It was just about dark and i casted out maybe 10 times and caught about a 4 lbs large mouth. walked around the side of the pond casted once and pulled in another bout 4 lbs. So i went to my friends pond the next day, casted out like 12 times and reeled in a 8 lbs large mouth! These things really work! I caught 2 bass within 15 min of fishing with the 006 minnow.

Subject: First time

I used the banjo 006 today for the first time and all though fishing was not great today, I did decide to do my own test on a 3 lb large mouth ,one of the 3 I was able to catch today. While she was on my stringer secured and pissed off hidding under a rock ,I cast the banjo out by her and retrived it right by her. She almost tore her own face off trying to bite the same minnow that she allready bit on and at the same time hooked to my stringer. Very nice product I can't wait tot test it at the ozarks next weekend. P..S.. How do I go about getting more eyes

Wayne, I must say that this is the best lure I have ever used!!! I got these on vacation and wanted to hury home to fish with them. I got home and went strait to the local watreing hole(lots of cover and big fish). I had personelly never caught any fish out of this pond. Before hand I watched the video many times and got the rhythm just right. First cast I let it dive into the weeds and grass, twitched it 2 times and BAM!!! An absolute my hands. I must say thank you for such a great lure.monster bass was on the end of my line and before I knew it, was in my hands. I've continued to catch quality Bass and other fish. I have shown friends and others the magic of the Banjo Minnow and have provoked a "feeding frezy" in my local area for this lure.
