The Banjo Minnow is unlike any other fishing lure on the market today in it's appearance and life like action. It also must be fished properly to perform as advertised!

The new Banjo 006 Minnow Kit contains written instructions and a visual instructional CD video that demonstrates the proper techniques that make the lure so effective. They are not at all complicated or difficult to learn. A young child or complete novice can begin catching fish immediately, once they understand what they are supposed to do. Like any sport, one can become better and better as one practices, but the basic method is simplistic enough to be immediately successful. We want all new users of the Banjo Minnow to view the instructional video that comes in the Banjo 006 Minnow Kit, before trying to fish the bait.

Since we introduced the original Banjo Minnow in 1994 our biggest problem has been in selling the product to many experienced fisherman who did not feel that they needed to view an instructional video, or people who wanted to buy just a small package of baits to try it. They assumed that they understood the bait and how to fish it.

Many of them threw away our hooking attachment system and used their own old conventional rigging methods.The result was, that they quickly reduced the effectiveness of the Banjo Minnow to that of "just another fishing lure", and believed that it was no good.

However, Banjo Fishing Systems has thrived and grown because the people who learned or understood the proper techniques of the Banjo Minnow enjoyed outstanding success and realized that the Banjo Minnow does exactly what we say it does. It is an exceptional lure in it's ability to catch fish, However, past experince has shown us just how important it is for our first time users to view the instructional DVD video that comes in the new Banjo 006 Minnow Kit before fishing with it. We know that it greatly reduce the number of people who improperly fish the bait, invent their own mystical methods or otherwise disappoint themselves. We have closed the Banjo 006 Minnow Store for purchasing small parts until they have purchased a new Banjo 006 Minnow Kit which includes our insrtuctional DVD video and the password to the store.

At this time we plan to open it up to everyone in January of 2009.

Banjo Fishing Systems is a business and we understand that this will cost us potential sales, but we also know that our long term success has been because of "word of mouth", not TV. TV is great advertising to attract fisherman, but only satistified fisherman create positive "word of mouth". We all know what has happened to the TV lures that over hyped and disappointed. They essentially disappeared. Over 12 years later, the Banjo Minnow is not only growing in sales, but is still improving. We are still working on ways to improve it even more, if possible. We have not only a totally different fishing lure, we are a totally different type of company. When we say that "It's all in your hands", we are talking about how you create lifelike action with the bait, but we also clearly understand that the success of our company is also "in your hands". We need you to catch fish!
